Hello Peasants!
I am super excited to make my first post here on Substack and spread the good word that is Peasantry.
For those that are new here, let me catch you up to speed. Peasantry is a super silly beer & pretzels style role-playing game where you get live out all of your wildest peasant fantasies. Competing in a wagon race? Yeah, we can do that. Prosecuting a pig for malpractice? Certainly possible! Catching the plague? Almost guaranteed! Earning the coveted title of Filthiest Peasant of the game? Only for those with the gall to do so!
Hold on, it gets even better. You can download a free demo of the game over at PeasantryTTRPG.com right now. It’s 100% free.
Wait. You want more? Well, we also have a discord with an awesome community of filthy peasants. Not only is the community great, but I am frequently running playtests of peasantry on there if you want to get a piece of the action. Check it out here Peasantry Discord
Not convinced yet are you? Well, here is a sampling of what the game has to offer…

Still not convinced? Got some heavy questions weighing you down? Feel free to leave any questions you have in the comments below and I will do my best to answer them. Here is a quick F.A.Q. to answer some of the more popular questions:
When can I buy a copy of Peasantry?
There is no scheduled release for the game yet. My goal currently is to continue to test/write content for the game. At the same time, I am actively trying to increase the number of followers I have so that the game has a better chance of success on launch.
How many pages will the book be and what size is it?
The book is currently sitting around 100 pages A-5 paper and will likely stay around that number. However, I have been writing several small zine adventures to go with it.
Why peasants?
I’ve always found myself playing silly Monty-Python-Esque peasant characters in other rpgs. I realized that there wasn’t yet a niche rpg dedicated solely to peasants, and I decided I should make one. I aimed for the game to be used for one-shot adventures since my friends are fairly busy people. Thus, Peasantry was born.
Well, that’s all I have for you today! Thank you so much for reading to the end, and I am excited to send out more updates on the game soon!
